Welcome to Hooked In A Mid-Life Crisis, LLC where traditional craftsmanship meets modern, functional design.

My journey into the world of fiber arts was definitely NOT planned. The sheer fact that I started all of this at the ripe age of 50 is why I call it my Mid-Life Crisis.  Anyways, it all started in December 2025 with an adorable little Red Pepper (see image below).  My daughter received the kit as a gift and she opened the box and gave it a good try but decided it was not for her.  So I randomly took the kit and found a video and tried and tried and tried (FROGGING) several times until suddenly it clicked and I finished my first Plushy!  Well, I became HOOKED and haven't stopped crocheting since.  

Now I use this new found passion—as a way to unwind, experiment, and challenge myself with the intricate logic of advanced technical stitches and patterns.
